Wayne E. Remes (my nick name
is Axel).
I am currently employed by Computer Science Corporation (CSC)
as a Systems Support Analyst contracted to Dupont in Charlotte North Carolina.
We do legacy system support on several of Dupont's VAX based computer clusters
located around the world. The comute from Salisbury to Charlotte is a
bitch...but I'm learning new stuff so it's worth it. Until March of 99 I was
employed by 
as a
computer systems analyst/programmer for the Army and Airforce Exchance Service.
They run the US Army and Airforce Post Exchanges. I was invloved with creating,
modifying and maintaining the software that runs AAFES's automated warehouse
systems, at the corporate headquarters in Dallas TX.
I was born in Berlin,
Germany in 1956, and grew up in Germany and Virginia. I served 3 years in the US
Army as an Infanty officer, serving with the 1/31 Mech Infanty in Korea, the
Institute for Military Assistance and the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft Bragg
North Carolina. I am a graduate of West Springfield High School class of 1974 in
Springfield, Virgina and George Mason University in Fairfax, Virgina in 1979
with a liberal Arts BA in History. I hold a 2nd Degree black belt in Judo, and
am a Knight in the Society for Creative Anachoronism. I also dig wargaming,
sci-fi, fantasy, and European History.
Jeanmaire A. Remes (Commonly
refered to as Jeanie)
It's a full time job looking out for Diane and to
a lesser extent Wayne (Men...Jeeze). I was born in Gloversville NY in 1955, and
grew up in upstate New York. I graduated from Gloversville High School in
Gloversville NY in 1973, and from Union College in Schnectedy, NY in 1977 with a
BA is Computer Science. I love sewing and have received my Laurel in Costuming
in the Society for Creative Anachronism. Having experianced German beer I came
to the conclusion that, since all American beer is basically swill, if I wanted
decent beer in the US, I would have to make it myself...as a result I have
become a home brewer, and not a bad one at that. Like Wayne I "dig" European
History..especially English, as well as Sci-fi and Fantasy. I am a reading
slut...and will devour almost any book.
Diane E. Remes
I was
born in 1992 in Giessen, Germany, and it's a full time job being a kid...I'm a high
school Freshman (9th grade) and take care of my parents (Jeeze...Adults). I go to SCA
events with Mom and Dad, and took Gymnastics, played Soccer and Teeball, Baseball and
Softball. I really like Japanese Anime and computer games. Dad also got me interested
in attending SciFi (Science Fiction) Conventions. The picture of me twirling in the
white anime heroine costume with wings on the family photo page won me an a prize when
at a SciFi convention I was 11. (Of course she won, all anime heroines look like
pre-teen girls.)
